OCSD claims that their "highly treated" sewage is good for the Ocean. If so, why not tear out the 15,088 secondary sewage plants?	Sewage plume intruding into beach areas. 1996 OCSD study suppressed until after the last waiver renewal in 1998.
So you know it's bogus, what can you do about it? There has been a 2-year campaign to STOP THE WAIVER. The Board is about to vote! Attend to support the 10 or more Directors, help them STOP THE WAIVER!
Fri., July 19, 9:00 A.M. at OCWD (on the left), 10850 Ellis Ave: If the Board of Directors fails to STOP THE WAIVER, you must come to this meeting to make sure they do not BLEACH THE BEACH. Dumping chlorine into the mix is no substitute for treating the sewage like everyone else our size. Wed., July 17, 6:00 P.M. at OCSD (on the right), 10844 Ellis Ave. in Fountain Valley. THIS IS THE VOTE! ATTEND TO GUARD OCEAN! Board of Directors will vote waiver YES or NO! Stopping the waiver will mean OCSD will move to Clean Ocean, water reclamation, and less studies and testing.
